Lenovo Prepare SleekBook for Middle Market Segment Images

Lenovo is preparing a notebook-like device Ultrabook, called Sleekbook. These products would sell for less than 800 dollars.

President Director of PT Lenovo Sandy Lumy explains consumers want a device at a price below but above specifications Ultrabook netbook.

“Many want prices are not expensive, but good performance, thin and stylish. So we will issue Sleekbook,” Sandy said after event announcement Lenovo Do Network (03/07/2012).

Research by Lenovo, about 87 percent of people tends to like three categories: less price of $ 300, 300-400 and 400-600 U.S. dollars U.S. dollars.

Lenovo is preparing a Sleekbook to meet preferred price range. In addition to similar Ultrabook, Sleekbook have a longer battery life, which is about 9 hours.

Sleekbook, continued Sandy, is also expected to meet consumers who are not satisfied with screen size in range of 10-inch netbook. Sleekbook will have a range of 12-inch screen.

About processor, Sandy explained Lenovo will not rush to implement the Intel Ivy Bridge. Until now it has not accepted arrival of latest processors.

“We still choose processor. We do not know whether to use Sandy Bridge or Ivy Bridge. Of course, we will adjust to Intel party,” he explained.

Because it has a slim and stylish design, Lenovo will target users of these devices to young people. Unfortunately, he not explain exact price of these devices.
