Again, it would depend on the type of connection you have applied for and the type of tablet you have as to whether or not you can share Internet access with other devices.

Most people refer to this as MiFi as well. Basically, this is a WiFi router made compact. It can only provide Internet access with a SIM card subscribed to your preferred data plan. In the past, mobile routers may only share up to five devices. Nowadays, newer models can provide access for up to ten users and have touchscreen displays as well.

USB Dongles

The best way to think of this device is as a compact modem, made in the form of a USB drive or stick. It also comes with a SIM card slot. It can only provide Internet access to the device it is plugged into. However, the device itself may have a built-in router to share Internet access.
